  • Safety First: Drug Education for Youth
    Webinar - 7/1/2024

    "Safety First: Real Drug Education for Teens" is an evidence-based, harm reduction drug education curriculum for high school students that allows teachers to have honest conversations about drugs with their students while equipping them with the skills to navigate their risks. The curriculum is free and consists of 15 lessons that can be completed in a 45- to 50-minute class period.

    45% of adults with an SUD in the general population also live with a co-occurring mental health disorder. People with an untreated co-occurring disorder are less likely to complete substance use treatment or achieve sustained recovery; they are also more likely to experience unemployment, homelessness, child welfare involvement, incarceration, and suicide. This Practice Academy examines the interactive nature of substance use and mental health disorders, while providing strategies for improved approaches and outcomes for parents and their children.

    PDMP TTAC invites you to attend the Harold Rogers Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) 2024 National Conference, scheduled for August 13-15, 2024, in Washington, D.C. The theme is “PDMPs: Collaborating to Address the Prescription Drug Crisis.” This event is one of the largest in the nation for PDMPs with 2½ days of collaboration, innovation, and progress in addressing the prescription drug crisis.


  • Introduction to the Restorative Justice Laws Database

    This webinar session will introduce the newly launched Restorative Justice Laws Database from the National Center on Restorative Justice. Attendees will be introduced to the functionality of the database and how they can use it to learn more about examples of restorative justice policy from around the United States. A range of relevant policy features will be highlighted.


  • Evaluation Action Plan

    BJA’s Training and Technical Assistance Center for Data & Evaluation will be hosting a webinar providing guidance and support for COSSUP grantees and those interested in learning more about partnerships between practitioners and evaluators who are implementing and evaluating programs designed to prevent, respond to, and address substance misuse. The webinar will also provide an overview of the Evaluation Action Plan Template. Grantees will hear from two evaluators in the field on how they utilize evaluation action plans and lessons they have learned.


  • 2025 National Forum on Overdose Fatality Review - Turning the Tide

    This is a convening for multidisciplinary members who participate in, lead, support, or are interested in OFRs to connect directly with colleagues from different backgrounds to discuss relevant issues and trends, share ideas, exchange resources, and gain new skills to improve programs.
